AMK's 2024 goal is to reduce our energy usage and carbon footprint as much as possible. Sustainability is our top priority, from our products to our practices. AMK is always looking for new ways to be green, and make a positive environmental impact.
Recent Sustainable Changes
- Switching to aluminum spray bottles
- Switching from traditional plastic wastebasket bags to biodegradable bags
- Reducing collection of garbage in one biodegradable bag versus multiple small bags for each waste basket (Sometimes we collect anywhere from 4-10 garbage bags in a house! -- (if you'd like each can be lined please leave a roll of your preferred bags in the bottom of your cans and we'll reline them with yours.)
- Reducing supplies (plastic items) to multifunctional items
- Repairing/replacing items for vacuums versus buying new when broken
- Route density to reduce vehicle emissions for our team
- Reusable diaper bags for our supplies to take home for laundering
- Cleaning Specialists equipped with supplies to reduce refill trips to the office daily
